Teaching at the University of Aberdeen is organised crossed 12 schools that include a wide range of methods. Undergraduate and postgraduate students benefit by being taught by an academic team who are active in research, many involved in international collaborations at the lead of discovery in their particular system, focused on finding solutions to the problems facing our society and economy today. Teaching and research are mainly based on their Old Aberdeen and Foresterhill campuses. Arts, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, and the main University library are located in Old Aberdeen. The majority of Life Sciences and Medicine is based at Foresterhill.
Campus facilities The University has two UK campuses. First there is the iconic Old Aberdeen campus, home to both the International Study Centre and the impressive King's College Chapel that was built in 1495. Old Aberdeen has enlarged over the years and now claims more up to date buildings, such as the Sir Duncan Rice Library, but King's College still holds its ancient origins - teaching subjects such as Theology and History of Art. Students who are studying Life Sciences and Medicine may be at the Forester hill campus - home to the facilities and personnel you need to succeed. There you will find:
